Lesson 2/3: How to practice consistently enough to get good at guitar – even if you’re already busy

In the last video we talked about three big roadblocks that many beginner guitar students face when they are starting out. (If you missed it, you can see the video here: Lesson 1)

But the reality is that not everyone is able to practice for hours each day. So what is the best practice strategy for a person who is also juggling work, school, relationships, and other stuff?

Let’s dig into it.

A little bonus exercise for more advanced players

This Free Training is a primer to my beginner online guitar course. Like the course, this free training is mostly geared towards beginners.

However, I know that many of my subscribers on YouTube are more advanced players – so to make sure those more advanced players who might have stumbled into this free training come away learning something new, I recorded a little bonus exercise that goes along nicely with the above video.

(This exercise assumes you have already mastered the basics, so if you are a complete beginner, don't worry! Simply kick back and enjoy watching this little bonus exercise to see what you will be able to play after a few months of practice.)

And, now that you have heard my not-so-secret strategy for practicing consistently on the guitar, please comment below and tell me:

How does the idea of a “Minimum Viable Practice Session” change your perspective on practice? And, how did you like the little bonus exercise?

P.S. I’ll send you lesson 3 tomorrow.
