Entry terms
These terms cover entry to the Two Chord Challenge, run by Course Concierge LLC. By entering, you accept them.
Entry window
Thursday September 10, 2026 to Tuesday September 29, 2026, 10:00am ET. Winners will be announced Tuesday September 29, 2026.
Eligibility
Open worldwide to anyone aged 18 or over at the time of entry, except residents of Italy and Brazil, where local rules on prize promotions prevent us from including you - sorry. Minors with parental consent. Employees and contractors of Course Concierge LLC and immediate families excluded.
Entry
Record a guitar solo over the supplied backing track, post it publicly on Instagram, tag @pauldavidsguitar and add the hashtag #TwoChordChallenge. Post stays public and unedited until winners are announced. Multiple posts are allowed, and one entry will be judged per person (the strongest).
Judging
The grand prize will be selected by Paul Davids and team on musicality, phrasing and creativity. This is subjective creative judgement - not a scored contest, or public vote. The three free passes to Solo School will be drawn at random from everyone who posted an eligible entry before the closing date.
Prizes
Grand prize the Paul Davids Nucleo Reverb Pedal, judged. Three free passes to Solo School, drawn from posted entries. Not transferable, no cash alternative.
Rights
Entrants keep ownership; Course Concierge LLC and Paul Davids get a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to show, reproduce and share entries in connection with the challenge and its promotion.
The small print
No purchase is necessary. Entry is free and buying anything does not improve your chances. Void where prohibited by law; if a prize cannot lawfully be shipped to your country we will offer an alternative of comparable value or withdraw the prize for that entry.
Winners are contacted through the account they entered from. If we cannot reach a winner within 14 days of first contact we may award the prize to another entrant. Our decision is final and we do not enter into correspondence about it.
Prizes are shipped at our cost. You are responsible for any import duty, tax or customs charge in your own country, and for any tax you owe on the prize. If a stated prize becomes unavailable we may substitute one of equal or greater value.
We may disqualify any entry that is not the entrant's own playing, that is not played over the supplied backing track, that is posted outside the entry window, or that contains material that is unlawful, hateful or infringing. Attempting to manipulate the challenge, including fake accounts or coordinated voting, disqualifies every entry connected to it.
You can ask us to stop using your entry by writing to team@pauldavidsguitar.com. We will stop going forward, but cannot recall material already published or in circulation.
This challenge is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram, YouTube, TikTok or any other platform, and you release those platforms from any liability connected with it.
Course Concierge LLC is not liable for entries that are lost, delayed or not visible to us for technical reasons, including a post being set to private or removed by a platform. We may amend these terms or cancel the challenge if something outside our reasonable control makes running it impossible or unfair; material changes will be posted on this page.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and disputes go to the courts of Los Angeles County, California.
